Rain poems

Here are a couple of the rain poems you wrote last week. By posting them on the blog, I am hoping it makes the rain go away for a few days!

Rain

The rain is drumming on the rooftops
Dripping on the ground
Shooting from the clouds that are in the beautiful blue sky
Hammering with hail
Tumbling off the bumpy roof.

I love rain.
So should you.

Pitter Patter

I go pitter patter, pitter patter.
I flow in streams.
I make you wet and cold.
What am I?

An umbrella shields me from you.
I hammer on your roof.
I make shimmering puddles.
What am I?

Safer Internet Day 2014

Hello everyone.

Today is Safer Internet Day. We will be exploring the 'ThinkUKnow' website today to learn about how to use the internet safely. This is the website.

The Safer Internet Day website also has a TV channel (here) which you can watch with programmes specially for you. Unfortunately the programme for KS2 is on when we have Gymnastics, but you can catch it again at 5.30pm (KS1 is on at 5.00pm - see the link for the full schedule).

Have a great day and, most importantly, stay safe on the internet!

Climate Change

Hello everyone.
For your learning on Monday afternoon, you will need to visit this website: CLICK HERE.

I hope you are able to find out the causes and effects of climate change and present it neatly on your fishbone diagram.
